feisty
from strong opinions and
a voice that expresses them.
I am from
emotion
from happy, sad, angry and
everything in between.
I am from laughing and crying
and plenty of yelling, too.
I am from
humor
from jokes and bad puns
from belly laughs and
tears streaming down.
I am from
comfort
from come-as-you-are
from kitchen tables and
worn sofas in the living-room.
I carry pieces of them with me, in me,
through me.
